Replacement of an executive member of BoD
Following the resignation of Mrs Calliopi Vernadaki daughter of Emmanuil, due to retirement, from her position as an Executive member of the BoD, and CEO of Jumbo S.A the Board of Directors converted on January 15, 2016 on the replacement of the resigned member and the constitution of the BoD as a body.
The Board of Directors decided the replacement of the resigned executive member by Mrs Sofia Vakaki daughter of Apostolos-Evangelos, with studies and knowledge in the economic sector and professional experience as an employee of the company, which will enable her to respond to her responsibilities as Executive Board member. The above election will be under the approval to the first following General Meeting of the Company’s shareholders.
Subsequently, the BoD, constitutes as a body as follows:
Α. Four (4) Executive members:
1. Evaggelos-Apostolos Vakakis (George), entrepreneur, Chairman of the BoD.
2. Ioannis Economou (Christos), lawyer, Vice Chairman.
3. Evaggelos Papaevaggelou (Dimitrios), entrepreneur, Deputy Vice Chairman.
4. Sofia Vakaki (Apostolos-Evangelos), private sector employee, Appointed Consultant.
Β. One (1) Non Executive member:
1. Paraskevi Kavoura (Georgios), lawyer.
C. Two (2) independent non executive members:
1. Georgios Katsaros (Spiridonas), economist and
2. Nicholaos Velissariou (John), economist.
