Announcement of regulated information according to law 3556/2007

JUMBO SA announces that, according to law 3556/2007. "HSBC Holdings PLC" and "HSBC BANK PLC" with
notification that was sent today to our company which constitutes a correct replication of previous notification of
the companies clarified that the indirect percentage of shares and voting rights in "JUMBO SA" has been increased
to 5,122% or to 6.210.151 shares from September 7th 2009.

This change is a result of a corresponding change of the percentage held by the companies which are controlled by

"HSBC Holdings PLC", "HSBC Bank PLC" and "HSBC (HELLAS) AEDAK", to 4,577% of the shareholders equity and to
0,545% of the shareholders equity respectively.
