Announcement on the Board of Directors decision
The Board of Directors of Jumbo SA at its meeting on October 31st ,2018 accepted the resignation of Mr. Evaggelos Papaevaggelou (Deputy Vice President) and decided not to be replaced in the BoD and to continue the administration and representation of the company, with seven members synthesis, until the end of its term. The Board of Directors reconstituted as a body with seven members, as follows:
Α. Four (4) Executive members:
1. Evaggelos-Apostolos Vakakis (George), entrepreneur, President.
2. Ioannis Economou (Christos), lawyer, Vice President.
3. Demiri Konstantina (Starvos), CEO, Executive Member
4. Sofia Vakaki (Apostolos-Evangelos), private sector employee, Executive Member
B. Three (3) independent non-executive members:
1. Nicholaos Velissariou (John), economist
2. Georgios Katsaros (Spiridonas), economist and
3. Fotios Tsigkos (Athanasios), tax advisor
Furthermore, the Board of Directors has appointed powers to represent and bind the company to its Members and to employees of the company.
